Jalan merupakan prasarana yang berperan sangat penting dalam menunjang kebutuhan masyarakat untuk melakukan berbagai jenis kegiatan perekonomian. Semakin meningkatnya intensitas lalu lintas akibat dari pergerakan tersebut dapat mengakibatkan kualitas jalan semakin menurun. Tanda penurunan tersebut dapat terlihat dari munculnya kerusakan pada struktur perkerasan jalan. Metode PCI yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi perkerasan lentur pada ruas jalan Cikembar – Jampang Tengah, Sukabumi. Metode PCI memiliki rentang nilai kondisi perkerasan jalan dari 0 sampai 100 dengan rating good, satisfactory, fair, poor, very poor, serious, dan failed. Untuk mempermudah penggunaan metode PCI ini, seluruh alur perhitungan metode PCI diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman Delphi dan dirancang menjadi suatu aplikasi sehingga pengguna dapat menemukan nilai PCI dengan lebih cepat. Dari hasil analisis menurut ASTM D6433-07 diperoleh nilai PCI rata-rata 82,115 dengan kategori satisfactory.
